Bug: Jogging with Galil
I am afraid, there is another bug in deviceGalilMotor.py. It was not possible to select the velocity in jogging, which also messed up the referencing. The culprit is the call to remove_offset_factor(), which blows up the velocity value.
Does anyone know, what this function is supposed to do? When I take it out, jogging and referencing both work as expected. Otherwise the number is reported 'out of range' and presumably the last setting reused. However precise referencing depends on approaching the limit at a slower speed the second time around. This apparently never worked, which also means we never referenced the collimator tilts at Sigray properly. We can also have a look into this, when we install the new computer there.
