The main firmware framework project

This proposed work explores the use of machine learning to provide operators with estimates of key photon pulse characteristics related to beam pointing. A data pipeline is set up and the method is applied to the SASE1 undulator line at the European XFEL.

This project uses ChimeraTK Python bindings together with xdma-metapackage to configure and initialize the sis8300ku_example_project.

It is meant for example application for FPGA developers to learn how to use Python to interract with the SIS8300KU.

dCache nearline-storage driver implementation for small file aggregation

This GUI facilitates interaction with the DRTM-PZT4 board, providing control and monitoring of all PZT4 channels (voltage output, current output, and voltage input). It features a table-based waveform generation capability for precise piezo actuation. Furthermore, it allows modification of PZT4 operational parameters and configuration. The GUI is built using PySide6 and PyQtGraph within a Python virtual environment, with Makefiles for workspace setup.

The project contains a collection of Python scripts with which dCache customers can interact with the QoS system in dCache in order to manipulate the locality and locality workflows.
